Synergy Between Contec and ICEA for the Enhancement of Built Environments
The Contec Group has signed an important and prestigious five-year framework agreement with the University of Padua – Department of Civil, Building, and Environmental Engineering (ICEA) for activities related to studying and researching the knowledge, protection, management, and enhancement of urban infrastructure and architecture in both natural and built environments.
The goal of the agreement is to develop projects and initiatives related to the management of building and architectural heritage, also focusing on the digitalization of structures and the implementation of BIM (Building Information Modeling) models.
This represents a true synergy between professionals aimed at establishing a collaborative relationship, where study, research, and technology transfer activities conducted by the ICEA Department can integrate with the use of qualified resources and tools provided and developed by the Contec Group, achieving the goal of developing shared procedures.
Among the Contec Group’s areas of expertise, particular involvement will come from the teams most active in the digitalization of structures and the implementation of BIM models: Contec Ingegneria, BIS-Lab Building Innovation & Skills-Lab® e Open Building sb.
