The project managed by Contec Ingegneria and Contec AQS in the field of school building construction in Caldierino received a prestigious recognition for its innovation aimed at energy savings.

On November 29, 2024, at KNX Day in Verona, the Contec Group – through its divisions Contec Ingegneria and Contec AQS Ambiente Qualità Sicurezza – received the KNX Award from the KNX Italia association for the expansion project of the “Maria Bambina” kindergarten in Caldierino (Caldiero, Verona) in the Public Administration category.

Funded by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), the project was managed by the Contec Group during the design, implementation, and safety phases, earning recognition for the high-quality automated and decentralized management of the building’s technological systems.

The technical collaboration in the design phase with IMPTEC and the installation partnership with Sinectra led to the development of systems that will ensure comfort for the kindergarten’s young users and easy management of energy consumption, with a focus on reducing it.

KNX Italia is the trade association promoting and developing the KNX standard for Home & Building Automation applications. KNX Day 2024 was an event for sharing ideas on innovation, sustainability, and collaboration among professionals.
