Contec supports the Ukranian pavilion at the Architecture Biennale 2025 in Venice
On the occasion of the next “Biennale” International Architecture Exhibition of the Venice , Contec Ingegneria will support the Ukrainian pavilion hosted at the Sale d’Armi of the Arsenale.
Contec Ingegneria will experience the upcoming 19th International Architecture Exhibition of the Venice Biennale with direct and intense participation by supporting the Ukrainian national pavilion presenting “DAKH (DAH): Vernacular Hardcore”, curated by Bogdana Kosmina, Michał Murawski and Kateryna Rusetska,
The exhibition explores the intersection between traditional construction methods and improvised constructions during war crises.
“Dakh” in Ukrainian means “roof.” The roof is the most basic form of architecture. It provides shelter from the fickle elements and cocoons the mundane routines of everyday life. But in the perilous conjuncture of full-scale war—a fight fought in large part in the skies, by drones and missiles—the roof also becomes the first point of impact for hostile projectiles.
Contec Ingegneria has been present in the world of art for a long time, both through the support of cultural initiatives and through the technical consultancy requested for the installation of works of art, exhibition routes, and complex installations.
For the next six years, the Ukrainian Institute will serve as the commissioner of the Ukrainian pavilion at the International Architecture Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia, supported by the Ministry for Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
