Contec Ingegneria is opening a selection process for a technician to join the team in the Construction Site Management area. The person will be responsible for supervising ongoing construction work through verification and inspection activities of structural and/or architectural works.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:

• Degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture;
• Minimum of 5 years of previous experience in the field;
• Knowledge of Project & Construction Management software and site accounting management;
• Strong teamwork skills with the ability to independently organize work, initiative, observation skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to work under deadlines.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

The activities, which are indicative and not exhaustive, will include:

• Planning the activities leading up to site inspections and the handover of works to the relevant departments;
• Supporting the monitoring of proper work execution according to drawings and contractual technical specifications;
• Identifying and analyzing causes negatively affecting work quality, proposing corrective actions to the Site Manager, and assisting with identifying necessary interventions and appropriate documentation for changes;
• Preparing reports for assessing work progress and identifying any discrepancies from the general and detailed project timelines, ensuring updates are made and any deviations from contract specifications are promptly reported to the Site Manager;
• Taking measurements necessary for the preparation of the measurement record book;
• Verifying accompanying documents for material supplies to ensure compliance with contractual specifications;
• Ensuring materials, equipment, and systems conform to contractual specifications before installation;
• Assisting with testing and commissioning operations.

THE OFFER

The operational base will be in Verona, with travel to client sites as required.
